Description
Ah, Ethiopia... the home of coffee. Like a visit back to your hometown, there is something about the familiar fruity tones of great Ethiopian coffees that give me a smile every time I take a sip.
This coffee was produced at Aricha Mill, in the Edido Village, from coffees grown in the Kebele micro-region of Yirgacheffe. A majority of Ethiopian farmers have small farms, which means traceability usually ends at the Mill.
Farmers pick their ripe cherries and sell them to the nearest mill, often receiving a premium price if they bring only 100% ripe cherries. Aricha is synonymous with quality coffee, producing great coffees season after season.
